My name is Lisa Young Nixon, my husband is Timmy and we have two wonderful kids. Jenna who has our first grandchild - Dallas, and Nathan who is a Senior at DCHS this year. You probably guessed it Dallas is our world and he is only 5 months old, can't imagine what it will be like when he can actually say Nana and Poppy! Enough!

On to Photography... it has always been a passion of mine that I usually put aside because with raising children there was always something to do or somewhere to be, but it always stayed in the back of my mind that someday I really wanted to be a photographer. Approximately 18 months ago we found out that my dad had cancer and he would only have a few months to live. No one is prepared for that type of devestation.... and at that time I decided I needed something to occupy me and my family during this troubling time and even more after his death, because he was the light of our life! I was a daddy's girl! No matter what I wanted to do both my parents were always supportive and it didn't stop with me it carried over to all their grandkids. And by the way our grandchild Dallas, is named after my dad and he was the first great grandchild, I only wish my dad could have shared this joy with us here, but I know he is looking down upon us with a huge smile everytime we call "Dallas" by his name! So with all this said I decided to start my own photography business.

I know everyone is wandering how in the world we came up with Loving Touch Portraits as our Name! Well, after we decided to do this I was praying one night and the Lord showed me that even through our trials He was always there for us and it was the "Loving Touch" of His Hands that got us through them. So I give all the credit to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for this business and the ability He has given me to add a "LOVING TOUCH" to all my portraits!
